Here we descended to the fifth and final of the Royce Lakes. The the foot of Royce Lake No. 5 the outlet stream drops near vertically for over 1,000 feet into French Canyon. We took a nice long break at the waterfall and scrambled on the rocks to get a nice view down into French Canyon.
