A major attraction in Joshua Tree is the starry nighttime skies. In anticipation of this, we purchased a remote timer/shutter release to attempt our first star trail shot. When we set out to take the picture, we knew the conditions weren't ideal, but gave it a shot anyway. We were pretty happy with the result for our first try. This is a 50 minute exposure.
