We arrived at Sally's apartment late Thursday night and Steve was off early Friday morning for Death Valley. Norah and I had several days to hang with Sally, bask in the beautiful weather, visit friends, and take in some of the LA sights.

On Friday we had a delicious brunch at Alcove and then walked/hiked up to the Griffith Observatory. Norah loved the moon exhibits and we enjoyed the views of LA. In the evening we again took advantage of outdoor dining for dinner and then Vicky, another friend from MIT, stopped by Sally's apartment. Vicky brought yummy cupcakes from Susie's Cakes. A sure way to make fast friends with Norah!
