On Wednesday we left Acadia to spend the rest of the week up north in Baxter State Park. We had a cabin on Daicey Pond, a scenic pond with views of Katahdin. There were canoes and kayaks to rent and Steve went out several times in a kayak. Norah was very much excited about the prospect of that much water to splash in and was certainly making a go of it when we were on the dock.
