Mount Rushmore is located adjacent to the Black Hills National Forest and Custer State Park. After I had lunch at Mount Rushmore I drove to the Needles District of Custer State Park where I took a short hike to the Cathedral Spires seen here. During this hike an amazing thunderstorm formed and the thunder was very, very loud!
