@Troy Bertrand: Thanks. The X100's big advantage over my dslr is its quiet operation. Still plenty to dislike about the firmware, the (slight) shutterlag, the slow write-to-card speed, etc., but the low-light capabilities seem to better those my Nikon D300. Most of all though, I'm now allowed to photograph at very quiet, intimate performances \o/
