The Markha Valley trek is a classic trek in Ladakh, following the Markha river. While these days it can be done as a homestay trek, it also offers possibilities of spectacular explorations and mountain climbing for those prepared to camp high. The trek we did in 2016 was organized and led by Jamie McGuinness of Project Himalaya and included as a highlight a climb of Dzo Jongo East (6220 m).
