Our tents at Kang La Base Camp (4430m).


Standard itineraries assume two nights between Forest Camp and crossing Kang La. The first night is usually spent at c.a. 4200m (Lar Tsa), the second one at 4650m (Snowfields Camp). We chose to spend only one night on the ascent to the pass, and chose an intermediate place to overnight.
