And another crinoid on a sea fan.

Because of the cyclones in the previous couple of weeks, the visibility was not great, with there sometimes being lots of particles in the water. Careful placement of the strobes can help minimize the effects, but there is only so much we can do. Another reason why for the most important rule of underwater photography: get too close, then get closer. Less water between you and the subject means less particles and less absorption of colour.
