There are several varieties of thistle in the gardens at the new house. My original thought was to pull most of them out, since I am not a big fan of their look, but now that the flowers have opened, I have discovered just how attractive they are to pollinators. And given the "Bring back the bees" initiative, maybe I should keep them.
