This is one of my favourite trees, just a few steps from my apartment. I have taken a lot of pictures of it, but only been happy with a few, mostly in winter. Thanks to the polarizing filter, this is a successful summer one. Unfortunately, it only ever has leaves on half of it, and although it barely shows, it has been marked with an orange band, which usually means it is slated to be cut before it falls down and hurts someone. I will be sad to see it go. Hopefully there will be some more good (good for photography, anyway) days before it disappears.
