All that's missing is the ominous music....

Post-posting comment, after the image has been up for eight hours or so: "the camera you have with you is the best one"! I normally use a D700 and it takes some great, very artistic images. But I wouldn't be having it with the lens on the surface of the water 30m out from shore. This has been the image that I have posted that has had by far the most first-day views. I slave over some of the "art" images, and they may be technically more impressive than this one, but there is also something to be said for the robust point-and-shoot you can take everywhere to capture the fun moments in life that are worth an image with a little story ;) Even if it is a lot less expensive than the "art" camera!!
