Moonrise over Lachine.

This is one of those strange times where the camera does not see things the same way we do. What first drew me to rush home and get back with the camera was that the moon was just beside the bridge, and very large. The images did not show the same lunar impact, though, with the moon appearing its normal size. I had heard before that the large moon is an illusion, so since Google knows everything, I searched and came up with this Wikipedia link. So I'm not the only one who doesn't know why it happens....

Well thanks for solving that mystery - because I've done the same as you and taken a shot only to ask myself later "why did I take that??"
On the bright side - great shot - the whisper of clouds across the moon compliment a great composition V

That's what you call a Saturnine moon! J'aime beaucoup.

Quel impressionnant cliché! La lune jaunie ainsi est d'une grand beauté et contraste parfaitement avec le bleu de la nuit..Sublime!BV!

Fascinating shot. Very lovely capture of the full moon. Perfectly exposed. Vote.
