Winter grass.

My new toy: Nikon 24mm f2.8. I am finding myself getting more and more into fixed focal length lenses these days. The 50mm f1.4 is incredible, particularly in low light, so I have tried adding the 24mm. It is not quite as fast as the 50mm, but definitely a lot smaller and faster than my 24-120 zoom. Besides the light weight, I was also looking for a lens that would encourage me to get close without adding the stretching at the edges from the ultrawide 14-24mm f2.8 (also an incredible lens). So far so good!

I think I am also enjoying the creative aspect: what can you find to shoot when you have only the one lens and focal length to work with?
