Have I mentioned that it was a good trip for squid? Despite the fact that this was right next to the dock, there was no one else in the water so I had plenty of time to work with the light to get things right. It also helped that it was very shallow (you can just see the surface of the water on the piling) and sunny, to get lots of nice dappled light. A few more speckles in the water than I would have liked, but that's pretty normal when you are very close to shore (things get stirred up by the waves).
