The moon has been spectacular in the early evening for the last week or so, and I tried to take some photos of it. I do like this image, but it was not what I was aiming for. None of the images I took met with what I was visualizing: get the ground and trees right, and the moon is blown out. Get the moon right, and everything else is dark. Get the sky right (which is close to this one) and the moon is blown out and the trees are dark.... This means I may have to break down and start experimenting with HDR. Just seems like an inelegant solution.
