This is going to be a photo(-ish)-a-day gallery for learning to work with black and white images again. When I first started photography, I was almost entirely b&w (Ansel Adams was my teacher, even though he never knew it). Since going digital, I have been almost entirely colour. Some of that is because I have done a lot of underwater stuff, but also because I have not really been happy with my results at converting colour digital images to b&w. So, since the only way to get good is practice, hence this gallery. I plan to add b&w photos here regularly (although the images may been taken some time previously). Any suggestions will be gratefully accepted.

Update, September 2008: While I don't claim mastery of b&w, I have improved quite a lot. This will now be my favorite b&w shots, some from the initial period of PaD and some later ones.
