Now if I could do this my ex wife would be in second heaven. she has asked me to take some pictures for our daughter and wants me to make her look younger. She said it jokingly but if she saw your work she would be very impressed ... as I am. Just incredible work.

Thank you, Johanna. The reason we learn to do this is that many women try to appear younger, as you know. Clients want it, so retouchers provide it. As for myself, I don't even bother to wear makeup and don't mind looking like myself. But everyone is different, and the customer is the one to decide what he/she wants.

Compliments for your technical skills, but my question is WHY? Why make her look younger? It must be great to have those skills and be able to enhance photos with exposure problems and such, but why re-touch the person on the photo - I found this one much more interesting in the original version, is there something wrong with aging?
