The comet McNaught as seen from La Silla on January 16th, 2007

The comet was visible about half an hour after the sun set... I took these pictures from my office window. The telephoto lens of my camera is equivalent to a 430mm lens on a 35mm one. I did not have a tripod, but using the selftimer and the window frame, helped to keep the camera steady up to 4 secs. The first pictures are of the sunset alone... it was so nice... All photos are as they came out of the camera. The last two are from next night: January 17th.
