These regions today are still the center of the three major religions- Christianity,Judaism and Islam. Inspite of the abundance of churches, minarets and synagogues in such a small area, one should not be fooled by the ever increasing tentions between factions, especially Muslims and Israelis. You can not avoid seeing automatic submachine guns around the cities of Amman, Cairo, Tel Aviv...even to the remotest town of the Sinai Peninsula.
But I put all these human indifferences aside and convinced myself that I am in the midst of nature's gifts and what ancient people built for us to see. Enjoy, and I hope you like the pictures as I see them.
