Winters in the Black Hills can be very different from year to year. Three years ago we had very little snow and were golfing by the end of March. Two years ago we had a 4 footer and an 8 footer in April and May. This year we have had snow storms almost every week and there is 3-4 feet everywhere off the plowed roads making it tough to get out.
