Cape Spear Lighthouse

The lighthouse was built in 1955 near St. John's, the capital of Newfoundland, and is the eastern most point in North America
(although some consider Nordost Rundingen, Greenland to hold the title). It is the second lighthouse built at
Cape Spear. The original lighthouse is a National Historic Site.
