This gallery has been started to record interesting images taken by members during their travels to other countries. Australians have a chronic travel bug, maybe because we are some distance from most places. We hope that as the gallery grows and matures, it will be enjoyable to our visitors.
A thriving fishing village with many working boats. Also a large area of oyster and mussel beds. At low tide tractors with trailers bustled back and forth loaded up with seafood.

On a branch of the Fly river in Papua New Guinea I snapped this shot of a mother taking her child for a paddle in a dugout canoe. It was such a lovely experience.

I visited Bruges with my daughter Liza in Jan 2002. Crossing from London on the "Chunnel" we changed trains in Brussels arriving in the morning of the weekend. The City largely unchanged since the 13th century and its Market Place and the ever present mist remain in the memory together with Leffe Beer and the most wonderful Nougat.
