After an ascent of the Northeast Ridge, we had intended on skiing the classic West Couloir, but all that was left was a runnel of alpine ice. Our consolation was to ski from the summit and drop a line into the Box Creek cirque down to the lake where we basked in the sun and eventually made our way back down.
