The Garage

The "Garage", which was named a California Historical Landmark in 1987, is where Hewlett-Packard Company (HP) started in 1938 (though the partnership was formalized with the current name on January 1, 1939). In other words, "367 Adison Avenue" in a Palo Alto residential neighborhood is what gave birth to Silicon Valley, the first high-tech region in this world.

I had the opportunity to take a tour of "the garage" on Thursday, December 8, 2005, and took a few pictures that throws some light on the initial days of this relentless pursuit to excellence.

Enjoy this "photo tour" of the historical landmark that has not only made many millionaires but more importantly gave birth to the technology revolution that has totally changed our lives for ever.
