Nashville had a tremendous flood over the May 2, 2010 weekend - over 13" of rain. The creek alongside the Richland Greenway rose 15 feet and raged through the area, uprooting trees, downing poles and fences, even pulling pavement and concrete slabs off of the pathways and depositing them 100 feet away on the golf course.
