This is our 2nd year at the Tomahawk Fall Ride...generally a rather cold experience, at least while actually riding. Lots of great bikes and interesting photo ops for me but for those of you hoping to see some shots of Eve in here, you'll be disappointed, we walked from where we parked the bike to a bar and she sat the entire time in that bar playing her video games...never even walked outside to look around...at least it saved me the price of her lunch.

The Tomahawk Fall Ride started in 1981 with about 16 riders taking a scenic ride around the north woods, followed by a cookout. One participant recalls the group riding up to establishments and having the "Open" sign turned around to "Closed" before they could walk in. By 1989 attendance estimates reached 5,000 people and 1,500 motorcycles...by 1998 the crowd was estimated at 30,000 people, with 17,000 motorcycles. By 2005 it is impossible to judge the total attendance in persons for the weekend as many bikers only spend one day in Tomahawk and are attending events for bikers in towns around the area.
I can tell you the town and surrounding area , as well as the interstate in both directions was full of bikes all day.
