I bought this car when I was 15. It had a flathead 8 with a 3-speed on the colume and I had to put a set of points in it to get it to start and drive home, but hey, I only paid $30.00 for it.
It was a typical Wisconsin car, more rust than metal, but it was MINE, and it got me around, at least on the back roads. I never did license it, and after I got my drivers license, I drove my fathers 54 Chevy.
I learned a lot about mechanic work with this car, as it needed a LOT of work. Even swapped out the motor later.
