Ghosts Of The Past

In most of these photos, if it is a male child it is probably me (born 1952), a female child probably my sister Judy (born 1944), and most adult male and female photos are of my parents, Perry (born 1905) and Elizebeth. (born 1913)
I had not looked at these photos in a while...tonight, as I was going through them again, I realized that of all the people and animals in these photos, I am the only one still alive. It is a strange and unsettling feeling to know that....and kind of sad. In every face I see, I know that I could have created more happiness, made less sorrow, if only I had tried a little harder, been a little more understanding.
