I spotted this old steam train weeks ago and today we decided to walk down and look it over as I want to do a good glamor shoot here in the future. I took the camera along just to take a couple quick shots with, but I ended up getting a little carried away so thought I'd just put an album up.
Precious got to tag along, and it was just over a mile walk each way...she was getting tired on the way back, so Eve carried her a little.

A Little History On Engine 2713. It was built in May of 1911 in Schenectady, NY and spent it's working life pulling passengers through Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota until it was retired in 1955. It weighs 258,000 pounds/117 tons and is designated a H-21 class. It was the 10th of 10 built. I have been able to find two original photos from when the train was still in service but the date, location and photographers names are unknown...I will post those photos 1st in the album.
