This was one of the first parks in Wetaskiwin. It is located on 50ave. between 54 and 55 street. When ever there was a large function or whatever the park was used. In the early years every Sunday the City of Wetaskiwin Band would play. For years it was used for the Remberance Day Services..It was used for the Senior Games Torch Relay start. It has been an excellent place of wedding photos or family shots. Churchs used this in the summer for some services..any other times you can see lots of sports activity. As a child I used this park as I only live a block away..It was located next to the orginal old hospital when has been converted to business's. You can't miss it as you probably drive by it when in the city. It is very well kept up by the city..
