This corner store { 49st. and 50th ave.} is on the east side of the tracks..It is now a paint shop and blind store...Many different business were here. It used to be in red brick..The orginal was called Aboussafy Hardward ran by Joe Aboussafy.. The Swimming Pool was named after him. Where the blind store is beside was called the Bright Spot Cafe. I can remember as a kid the sit up counters and booths "orange crush in the brown bottle with a straw". I still think young...
