_SDP3926pb.jpg "Ghost Town of Rowley Alberta"

"Rowley Alberta"

You have to love this photo as it has so much meaning... Rowley used to be a big farming community. It had a population of over 700 people, today 8 residence and about 20 cats...people moved out and in time became a ghost town...They cut off the railway on both sides of the town... This is a photo of one of the oldest homes... all that is left is the front porch... It is the last home on the south side going east on main street.. To maintain the ghost town they have a pizza night the last Saturday of each month at the old saloon. Two things of main important is the movie bye bye Blues and a part of Legend of the Fall with Brad Pitts was shot here... A interesting and neat place to see...
