These nest set-ups were put out my the Meyer family, very strong supporter of the fish and game in Wetaskiwin. At the by the lake park, there are 5 set-ups... Each one fills up... the problem being as shown by this one as who pays the rent...lol... or in other word may the strongest win.. Here's a couple trying to make claim.. The fights can get pretty ugly... They are all on the main islands so not harm can come to them from humans... the only problem is they take a pounding by the Ravens, Crows and gulls....there are also many nests on the ground... On a good year we can get up to 15 families... Last year was poor and only about 5 family's did ok....
