Leaving the Fields for the Open Water

Wetaskiwin Rural Area

Ducks and geese are starting to bunch up getting ready to make the flight down south...Central Alberta has lots of waterfowl, the funny thing is not too many hunt up here anymore... The kids today are more interested in what they can hold in their hands... that's today's up bringing. I have a 16 yr. old grandson and doesn't even know what a spruce tree from a willow is.... Pretty sad. Just think what the next 50 years are going to bring....

Beautiful sunset and fields. With the hay bales, it shows the autumn is almost here.

I hear the hunters talking on the radio and I hate it when they kill the ducks.
