Wetaskiwin out grew the fire station on 49 ave and 51 st. The City of Wetaskiwin and the County of Wetaskiwin now share two fire stations. The City of Wetaskiwin is divided by the railway so it was decided that there to be one Fire Station on each side of the tracks...one to hand the east and one for the west...This new Fire Station is located on 40 ave. and 60st. The City is quite blessed to have Mitch Carlson as Manager of Fire Service. He is a very knowledgeable and friendly person. A photo of the east side station will be put on pbase shortly...
