Canada Geese Study 2012

The first Canada Goose arrived on March 8th.2012. Sure nice to have a sign of spring here... Pussy Willows are out, nice warm day, and the geese here to provide more photo ops. for the coming year. They are always fun to shoot, and each one has a personality of their own... Hope to provide some nice shots of better quality.... and yes comment are very much appreciated...
First Canada on a lake nesting was on April 16th. 2012. Ice just went off the lake on April 25.2012
In prevous years the first hatching was on May 5th. and another year on May the 15th. First set to hatch was on May 10th. seven goslings and second to hatch May 15th.2012..two goslings, third set hatched on May 28th.2012 two goslings. October 24.2012 and by the lake park is almost frozen over except for the under water aeration and two windmills.
