Bohemiam Waxwing Collection " 9 outstanding photo's"

The Bohemiam Waxwing is a year long resident of Alberta. In the spring you will see them in pairs. In the winter they group in large numbers searching for mountain ash berries and small crab apples. They are one of my favorite birds, very nice markings and have lots of character. Hope you enjoy these photo's....Ron

Beautiful. I like the snow as background. Very good shots.

I am not actually a birder but one couldn't have spent a life time in mountains and along lowlands streams without knowing a few. The Waxwings are one of my favorite birds if not the favorite. They are so beautiful they look unreal. This is an extraordinary collect of photos that show them at their very best. Very fine work Ron. Vote.

Well done Ron.
I find that when I see a swarm of them, by the time I get my camera set up - telephoto, tripod and whatnot- they've taken off. It doesn't take much movement to get the whole flock in flight. You've done well.
