An antique 19th Century or earlier(much earlier) tsakli painting, depicting a red-bodied, peaceful form of Vajravarahi - the Diamond Sow. Her identifying attribute, the small boar's head peeps from within her high chignon, which is held back by her 5 pointed diadem. She is within a blue-centred, pale edged nimbus and a green mandorla, as she dances naked in Dakini pose, on a wretch beneath her feet, She brandishes a dorje -tipped chopper and a skull cup, and wears bodhisattva ornements and a swirling scarf which hangs downwards. 7 lines of text and a 'terma' covering a syllable. 8.9 x 12 cm
