Thanks for sharing this outstanding gallery on a truly remarkable city. For a look at the city in 1966 (40+ years ago), there are some shots on my "Potpourri Places" gallery that may be of interest to you. Some were taken at the Tiger Balm Gardens on Victoria which, I understand, is not longer in existence. Some others are of the harbor as it was then and some of Repulse Bay on the other side of Victoria.

The picture with the boat in the middle was taken under the light of the setting sun. That gave a nice tone to the picture.

Very nice pictures. I like the way how you use perspective and contrasting colours to add life to your pictures. Esp. that boat one is interesting. Exactly in the middle. I think I should pay attention to my own composition too.
