These photographs were taken in 1988 when many international tall ships visited Melbourne, Australia, to commemorate our bicentenary celebrations. I was fortunate enough to be a keen cruising sailor on a yacht and to be "out amongst them" when they sailed through Port Phillip heads, thus the close-ups of the sailing ships. I changed the colour to "old newspaper" because I thought it suited the period. The quality of the pics is not too hot, I'm sorry.
