It gets dark earlier and earlier so I need to keep my wits about me when Dad takes me out on Evening Cat Patrol. Sometimes they are lurking under parked cars, sometimes they are sitting in hedgerows or gateways- staring at me. And every now and then there will be a loud screeching miaow and one will dash out just in front of me!

My new next-door neighbours will be arriving soon. I wonder if they have a cat in their family?
