There was thick cloud and mist about for most of today but this afternoon the sun burned off most of the mist and gave us some mellow sunshine. It's starting to look very autumnal at the local park and there were lots of people throwing sticks at the chestnut trees. Not sure why, Dad says it has something to do with things called "conkers". Other people were feeding the ducks but as soon as the ducks saw me they waddled away for some reason. Still, I had fun watching them and imagining chase scenarios while we waited for Mum to finish photographing the flowers.
