01092006 the end of summer

It feels like autumn now, out and about. All the hedgerows are full of rosehips, hazelnuts and berries. The wind's started to bluster and it smells of autumn.
Dad says he's thinking of dyeing me black with some "Just for Men" so that after my walkies the mud won't show. I think he's joking...

Lovely and wistful... I wish I was seeing autumn over here already.

Great shot with the lensbaby.
Sad to see the days getting shorter, but still a bit warm here.

LOL! is a black Pooch still a Pooch?
Fun shot. Great use of lensbaby, with sharpness on Pooch.

Make the most of the sunshine & walks Pooch, it won't be too
many weeks til you're cooped up inside again.
The LB gives a dreamy feel to the image, perhaps a winter doggy dream?

That's it- - No more dilly-dallying- - I am ordering me one of those lens babies!

Pooch, watch out, our latest doggie addition is quite white so I am not so sure you Dad is joking!!

(Oh I didn't realise it was taken with a LB at first, great use of it.)
Time for harvest festivals, jam and Damson gin. A good time of the year.

Wonderful wonderful effect w/ the LB! V

No, what you need is a plastic mac & wellies. I hope your helping Dad pick those rose hips/heps to take home & cook up into syrup & jelly...lots of C vits to ward off winter chills ;>)

Fetch me some hazelnuts, Pooch. And it ain't so bad. The cat's are less likely to see you coming in stealth mode. The AKC might start calling you a Scottie though which, well...now this is just getting convoluted.

black hair will make you look like a cat, Pooch! :-o

Good time of year. Maybe use that beard stuff, it's tougher
Randu01-Sep-2006 16:05
Pooch, your dad is not joking! he he!
