11072006 the demise of Hippo

Dad: We regret to announce the demise of Hippo after a mere few weeks of faithful service. Here is his replacement, Bear, chosen by Pooch himself on a visit to the pet shop. I have got yet another streaming cold today and am working at home with Pooch and Bear to keep me company.

This is a really cute shot! Max has a 'kitten' and for once has not torn it to shreds! Chris

Oh this is too cute. Yes, we have a stuffed animal graveyard here too, probably very similar to yours and Joans. Garage Sales and cheap stuffed animals go over well here :)

Lol at Laine, but it's the truth. Pooch appears to be growling in this one.

Hi there Pooch. I think Sheila is right... Ask dad...
(And dad, feel better soon!)

Nice shot - based on personal experience, GUND stuffed animals for Babies last longer with dogs! Usually, I get 4-5 months prior to Java pulling out the sutffing. Nothing like a softie, Pooch!

Hmmm, I somehow think bear is about to meet hippo's fate pretty darn soon. Your immune system is still down from the setback of a few months ago...you need building up, as my grandmother would have said as she passed round the Cod Liver Oil or Hypol or Waterbury's Compound :>)

With Pooch and Bear, any sick day is a good day... Hopefully Bear will last longer.
Poor Sophie, Teddy has systematically chewed up all her favorite toys... :-(

ahh poor Hippo. Well hopefully Bear will last much longer.

Yikes, Pooch has to be gentler with his playmates!;-)
Take care of yourself.

Pooch pictures are always wonderful, but this one depasses them all! Wonderful shot.
A few weeks isn' t too bad at all for a stuffed hippo- - my Chi Dominic puts them out of service in about 10 seconds! Seriously! Hope you feel better.

Bear for Pooch and HOT LEMON for you, Ev!

LOL at Sheila's comment

I should imagine being bitten there will reduce the life of Bear!
Careful, Pooch!
