26042006 thinking about hedgehogs

Well poochfriends, it's been a strange time. I've travelled, I've made
some new acquaintances and revisited some old ones. But the weirdest thing
of all is what Dad did last night. We saw a hedgehog in MY garden on our
way back from a walky... and Dad gave it a bowl full of tinned poochfood!
Very bizarre. Next thing I know, it'll be living in my house, sleeping in my
bed, sharing my sofa...

(dad: thanks for the kind comments and messages about our ill relative. only a matter
of time now, I'm sorry to say. When we 'disappear' from pbase again in the next few
days it will be to attend a funeral.)

Pooch kinda looks like he's melting into the pages there.

Pooch, are you going to give your hedgehog friend a name?

I would be nice for you to have company, Pooch. Someone to share stories of your days & Dad's knee at night ;>)

I hope Grandma's time comes in peace.

So relaxed - must be a very nice dream - plenty of time to give that
newcomer a bit of lip and a growl! Gorgeous shot Dad! V

Nice work -

Rather uncomfortable bed-fellow ~ I would insist it had it's own box, preferably outside.
Sweet shot. Chris (PS - yes, the snail shell did seem hairy...?)

Cute shot. Pooch is going to daydream of life with his new friend, the hedgehog.

Poor Pooch. It must seem strange to you. But I'm sure you really don't mnd sharing with a homeless hedgehog. They are so cute if you don't get too close.
Sweet dreams.
