02092005 feeling rrrrufffff!

Dad: Pooch was very subdued yesterday, so much so that we took him back
to the v*t last night. However today Pooch felt well enough to bark at a
cat, so we are reassured he is on the mend. It is still a total mystery
what caused the allergic reaction though, we'll have to await the results
of the skin tests next week.

I've finally heard from the hospital and my operation has been scheduled
for the week after next. It's fairly common for the NHS to cancel things
at the last minute... But nonetheless I'll be very busy
next week organising myself for being out of action for six weeks and
getting my work up to date etc, and after that, if things go ahead, I'll be
incommunicado in hospital for at least a week or two. Hopefully Mrs E will
stand in and post a couple of shots while I am off, but she will be busy too. :-)

Not the best timing for the op to take place just now to be honest, but there is never
a good time, is there?

Pleased to hear Pooch is starting to feel better, and good luck to you in the next couple of weeks with your hospital stay and recovery - will be checking in for updates on both of your progress.

Good Luck!

I hope all goes well with your operation and you don't go stir crazy. Glad Pooch is on the mend.

I am glad the little fella is doing better. I hope your surgery goes well! Good luck on a speedy recovery!

Glad Pooch is on the mend. Hope that you will be quickly back on your feet as well.
After two recent surgeries, I can attest that dogs are the best at "couch" side nursing. Pooch - TAKE care of dad!

Wish you 2 all the best from the other side of the world! Cheers!

Good luck with the surgery. And I agree with Chris, you should bring Pooch to stand guard in the hospital.
Chris02-Sep-2005 15:07
I say you bring Pooch to sit bedside, stand guard. Fetch nurses when you need more juice or something. Excellent shot, btw and good luck to you, Mr. E.

I wish you all the best, Evans.
Also for Pooch.

Good to see him himself again. Best to you as well.

Firstly it's good to know there's nothing too serious with Pooch, though allergies in dogs are not to be ignored. I hope it's something that can be cured or he can be isolated from the cause. As for you Dad, I hope all is relatively plain sailing & painless.
Is this shot before he scratched the dirt with his back paws :>)

Good to see Pooch feeling improved enough to bark at
that next-door cat! All the very best for that op...we'll
be thinking of you cooped up inside, especially if the
weather is balmy and nice.
tembapix02-Sep-2005 11:31
Wishing you and Pooch the best.

Hope the best thing for you my friend
