29th December 2017

This is one for Brontė fans, I think! We had about 2 inches of snow this morning, although by the
time we ventured outside at lunch-time the rain had started, and has now washed most of the snow away.
Photo taken in the graveyard of Haworth parish church, the same church where the Revd. Patrick Brontė,
father of Charlotte, Emily & Anne, was vicar. The small school-house he built during his tenure
for the village children can be seen on the left of the photo.
Charlotte Brontė's wedding reception was held there in 1854.

It looks lovely in a covering of snow.

My other favourite authors :) What a pretty picture it makes.

A perfect winter setting, with this dusting of snow. Brontë lived long but pity his poor short lived children. V

Delightful image that gives a real sense of the era itself.
