Today Dad fetched some metal things from the shed and began digging some of the plants out of the flower bed.
I am not sure why he digs some plants out and leaves the others where they are.
Once upon a time, I would have been very excited by the chance to help Dad with some digging.
These days I am quite happy to snooze in the sunshine and let him get on with it!

Dad: the old boy is wonderful company to have while weeding the garden. :-)
