The viaduct was completed in 1907 and carries the railway over the River Tamar.

River Tamar! There was a RN ship named after River Tamar and served as supply ship in Hong Kong before the WWII. After the war, her name was given to the HMS Tamar shore station. The site is now known as the Tamar site and become the location of the Hong Kong government HQ.
